Here at Drug Testing Inc., we provide drug screening for many companies on the Western Slope of Colorado, and we are a D.O.T. compliant drug screening facility. We are a Third-Party Administrator that can assist your company with everything from Federal Required random testing to writing your company’s drug-free work policies.
For the individual, whether your testing requirements are court appointed or for personal reasons, you can rest assured that your screening will be done with the utmost professionalism and the strictest confidentiality.
We assist many companies and individuals who need a random drug screening who are passing through the area because of work-assigned duties or for personal reasons. For Court Ordered Requirements
Criminal or Civil Cases
This can be a very difficult time in life. Rest assured that we are here to help you complete the requirements set forth by a judge with compassion, integrity, and the utmost confidentiality. These tests are normally a lab based U.A., but at times may include a Hair, Breath Alcohol, or Saliva test. Take a look at our F.A.Q. page for details on what to expect with these tests.
Color Line for Condition of Bond
Typically a condition of bond, also known as a condition of Pre-trial Services, you will need to set up weekly random testing with our office. This is easily done when you contact us about this service. We assign your name to a color and provide you with a phone number to a pre-recorded line. You then call this number every morning after 6 a.m. to determine if your color is selected that day. If your color is selected, that is the day you must test with our office.

Non-D.O.T. Pre-employment and Random Screening
To assist your organization’s Human Resource hiring requirements, we offer a wide range of pre-employment drug tests:

Federal D.O.T. Compliant Testing
The Federal Rules (49 CFR Part 40) that govern the U.S. Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) can be overwhelming. We have D.O.T. trained and certified staff to ensure that your employees are Drug & Alcohol tested in accordance to the Federal requirements with the following services:
- Pre-employment screening
- Random testing
- Post-accident testing
- Reasonable suspicion testing
- We can even assist you if you have a D.O.T. employee that is passing through the Western Slope and needs a random screening

Consortium / Third-Party Administrator
We are a D.O.T. certified Consortium/Third-Party Administrator (C/TPA). As a C/TPA, we partner with your organization to implement D.O.T. Drug & Alcohol program so that you are in compliance with Federal regulations. We have over 300 companies in our Consortium that benefit from the following services:

- Maintain testing records

Reasonable Suspicion Training for Supervisors
We offer training for Non-D.O.T. and D.O.T. supervisors to assist you in recognizing workplace substance abuse, how to approach an employee, and the protocols that should be followed to ensure your workplace remains drug and alcohol free and that your employees can get the help they need.
For Personal needs
There are situations that arise in life that may require you to secure a personal Drug / Alcohol Test. Our trained staff can assist you in determining the best test to administer for your specific needs. Rest assured that your test will be done with the highest integrity and confidentiality. These tests can be any of the following:
- Lab based or instant U.A.
- Saliva test
- Breath alcohol test
Adolescent Testing
We provide a confidential service for a parent or guardian that feels the need to have a minor, drug or alcohol tested. Normally, an instant 6 panel test is used and you will know the results within approximately 10 minutes, and a copy of the results will be provided. If desired, we can also send the test to a lab for confirmation of any substances.
DNA Testing
DNA testing is offered as a service through an accredited laboratory. We facilitate the collection for the laboratory so we do ask that you call us in advance to schedule an appointment for this service.

Here are a Few Items to Consider for Your Drug Screening...
No need to schedule an appointment.
- That’s right, we take walk-ins.
- We can usually get your screening completed within a few minutes.
- Our busiest times of the day are early morning and late afternoon; during those times you may have to wait approximately 10 minutes.
Here are a few important items to bring with you:
- You must bring a valid ID. We cannot test you unless you have a valid ID with you.
- If your test is a pre-employment, ensure you have the proper referral with you from the company, or they have pre-sent that information to us.
- If a court ordered test, please bring the associated documentation from the courts to ensure we get you the correct test.
Please come prepared.
- Stay hydrated throughout the day.
- Arrive earlier in the day to prevent dehydration.
- To prevent any diluted samples with a urinalysis, make sure you consume a little protein an hour prior to your test.
